I started off with a DeLonghi ECP3420 and I believe I took it as far as I could. My new espresso machine is a Gaggia Classic that makes pulling shots and steaming milk so much more fullfilling.
I'm a personal fan of medium to dark roasted beans. Most often I'll get whatever seems good at my local roaster.
